Gholf
This year our school entered two teams into both the winter– and summer league. At the conclusion of the winter season our second golf team was the winner in the Northern Suburbs. After the play offs against the Southern Suburbs we made an overall third place. The first team made a third place in the Northern Suburbs.
The summer league is in full swing. Stellenberg A is in a comfortable second place, closely behind De Kuilen.
We are very proud of Ruan Muller, a Grade 11 learner, who was selected for the WP golf team.
Stellenberg boasts two teams which represents us in the Northern Suburbs A-and B-league. Both teams were placed 3rd in their respective leagues in 2008.
Swimming
Most of our swimmers are members of clubs (i.e. Barracudas and Tygerberg) in the area and participate in WP schools and SA schools championships.
Target Shooting
We are affiliated to the W.P. Metallic Silhouette Shooting Association and practice at the Durbanville Shooting Range. Because of the availability of weapons, only a limited number of learners can be accommodated. Our learners take part in various league competitions.
Tennis (Boys)
Our school is proud of its 14 tennis teams. The first team competes in the Premiere League.
Tennis (Girls)
Our school is proud of its 5 senior teams and 1 junior team. The first team competes in the Premiere League with 5 other schools. After the first half of the season the Premiere League team is still unbeaten.
Stellenberg currently has 4 representatives in Western Province teams, namely: Rezanne Villet (U/16), Nina van der Bergh, Marieke du Toit and Danielle Blignaut (all U/15).
The number of young players coming through bodes well for the future.
