Hockey (Boys)
Stellenberg boasts 6 teams and 4 grass hockey fields. We are also co-owners of the Bellville Astro turf. Hockey at Stellenberg is very much alive! We are a group of motivated, dedicated and determined boys, teachers and coaches. Our greatest pleasure is beating the traditionally-strong hockey schools.
Our coaches are outside coaches. They still play hockey and are passionate about the game.

Hockey (Girls) Stellenberg is proud of its 8 teams and 4 grass hockey fields. We are also co-owners of the Bellville Astroturf. We are in the fortunate position that Stellenberg's hockey has developed well over the past few years. Our first team competes in the Premiere League and fifteen of our senior players achieved W.P. colours.
In 2009 the Premiere League team (coach Me P. de Bruyn) finished third in the league while the U/14A (coach Me Simone von Skein) and the second team (coach S. van der Merwe) was unbeaten in the league.
Every year our first team undertakes a tour or attends a hockey camp during the April holidays.

Indoor Hockey
In 2009 Stellenberg boasted 7 girls' indoor hockey teams (teams 1 and 2 consisted of Premiere League players, team 3 consisted of U/18 players, teams 4 and 5 consisted of U/16 players and teams 6 and 7 consisted of U/14 players).
Our teams did quite well in their different leagues (team 5 came second).
Netball
Stellenberg High School had a highly successful season on the netball courts. Six of our teams competed in the final rounds of their respective leagues, the most by any individual school. The U/14A, U/19D, U/19E and U/19F teams were league winners in 2009.
The annual C-F tournament was held in April. The school hosted a record number of 110 teams. The U/19 tournament was held for the first time and was such an overwhelming success that it will become a yearly event. The visiting schools appreciated the full length matches. This was the first tournament of its kind in the Cape Peninsula.
The U/19A won all their matches at the Porterville sports day and at the annual interschools played against Durbanville High School only one team was on the losing side. Most of the netball teams played against Paarl Girls High and Swartland on their home turf, while the teams of Bonnievale, Porterville and Augsburg visited the Stellies at home.
Vanessa Viljoen (U/17) obtained WP colours.
