Background information
The school was established in 1986 to accommodate both English and Afrikaans learners from the suburbs of Eversdal, Stellenberg, Sonstraal, and parts of Durbanville and Bellville, Western Cape, South Africa.

Currently the school accommodates 1350 learners. The academic staff (including part time teachers) numbers 70, of which 40 are employed by the WCED and 30 by the Governing Body.
